A meeting with experts on customs clearance was held at the Baku General Customs Office on April 6.
Executive director of the State Customs Committee, Association of Azerbaijan Customs Representatives and Logistics Companies Azer Aslanov and experts on customs clearance took part in the meeting.
The event was organized in order to inform the participants about the document "Methodology for evaluating the activities of customs clearance specialists" prepared by the State Customs Committee.
It was reported that based on this document, the evaluation of the activities of customs clearance specialists was started and the process was systemized
will do it automatically.
Customs officers informed the participants about the provisions and main essence of the Methodology and said that the document will create conditions for increasing quality indicators during the preparation of customs declarations and eliminating additional time and cost loss for business entities.
